MEX Policy

Device Repairs

  • Mex offers 6 months warranty on premium or original parts used in repairs. Mex offers 28 days warranty on budget part/s used in repairs. With both premium and budget parts the warranty does not cover physical or water damage.

  • For overnight repairs please retain your collection receipt which is required to ensure the phone is handed over to the rightful owner. If you do not present a receipt on collection then a valid identification or proof of ownership for the device will be required.

  • Please ensure you have backed up your data (picture/messages/contacts etc.) before handing over your device. Mex is not specialized in data recovery or data transfers. Mex does offer any guarantee for data loss.

  • Please ensure you have taken out the memory/Sim card and removed any attachable/s i.e. phone case, screen protectors.

  • All parts used in repairs are not genuine unless stated. Genuine Parts are available for all devices but mostly only on pre-order request. The genuine replacement part prices are not the same as the value or premium generic parts.

  • When we repair your device we will ensure that it is of our best workmanship, where unavoidable you may see few marks of repairs.

  • Mex is not specialized in water damage repairs. At any stage of repair, we find that the device has been in contact with liquid. We will return the device unrepaired. Due to the nature of liquid with electronics, we cannot guarantee the device will be in fully/partially working order.

  • We require payments for all devices to be made in full upfront. If the exact nature of repair cannot be stated with an exact price then a deposit to order the parts will be required.

Buying from us

Product Warranty
Mex offers 14 days *returns policy. In addition, Mex also offers 6 months warranty on all products.

  • Warranty excludes physical / water damaged products.

Some items may be exempt from returns i.e for health and safety or perishables etc.
